Come
$2.00
The release of Come has been highly anticipated by me, Shelly, as much as anyone. When the Lord gave me this song it began with a beautiful shofar sound only..a shepherd’s horn… Not until I stepped into my secret place with Him and asked Him was He writing did the lyrics come. With a beckoning and pleading Hebrew-ish sound and message, I have pondered for some time this song. He had not entrusted this type to me before. It sounded as if He was calling His people home…

Thank You’s:
Thank you to Amanda Sorrells who tirelessly handles all music, website, and print graphics..for always knowing the need even when I can’t see it:)
To Gary Leach..again…my producer who takes an “unknown” as seriously as He does the many talented stars he has worked with..for knowing our Jesus and always being led by Him…this is a priceless treasure for the music He brings to us. Apart from us allowing His breath and vision to come forward it would be empty lyrics and melodies..but as He comes..it lives, heals, restores, and saves.
Misty Black..for all your love, support, and friendship..and your precious love gift to help the song get recorded:) Thanks girl..(tearssssss)
When taken into the studio, Gary Leach ( my producer) carefully kept what the Lord had breathed in it’s entirety to honor the direction and melody from the Lord. I have never felt the freedom and release to change what the Lord sings to me. He has specific reasons and people assigned such a melody and song. A message sent to those on His heart. I feel like if I change it, I would alter His heart’s desire and plan. To me it doesn’t matter if the song is not a typical song I would sing or like any other style I have been known to sing..only that it is the song He sent to me. His ways are always higher..and better.
Now is the appointed time where He wants to say… Come all who are weary and I will give you rest..
Donations from the single, Come, will be shared with My Brother’s Keeper in East Texas who lovingly feed and care for the homeless and under-resourced.
